archoforum is an intense design workshop on live archohm projects twice a year.
the idea is to establish an international forum of architectural design and practice.
with established ties to india and archohm, members of the forum will have awareness of the indian context and familiarity with the studio. they will therefore be in a position to enrich the design process with a diversity of ideas stemming from diverse cultures to produce high quality design.
the suggested structure is for an internet based communication, with bi-annual meetings, sponsored by archohm,alternatively in europe and india. these meetings will be in the form of intense design workshops, brainstorming sessions where particular projects are tackled. each architect will undertake a single project from concept to completion and will be in direct communication with the implementation team in india. the meetings in india will be an opportunity for site visits and a deeper involvement in the building process.
